The 2007 film "Hitman" is based on the popular video game series of the same name. Directed by Xavier Gens, it stars Timothy Olyphant as Agent 47, a skilled hitman tasked with carrying out assassinations for a mysterious organization known as The ICA. The film follows Agent 47 as he infiltrates a Russian facility to retrieve a stolen briefcase, but soon finds himself framed for a crime he didn't commit.

Alongside Olyphant, the film's cast includes Olga Kurylenko as Nika Boronina, a Russian arms dealer; Robert Knepper as Yuri Marklov, a Russian oligarch; and Dougray Scott as Mike Whittier, a rogue CIA agent.

Story and Cast

The 2023 film "Hitman" takes a different approach to the franchise, blending action and romance. Written and directed by Richard Linklater, the film stars Glen Powell as Tex, a hitman in witness protection, and Adria Arjona as Olivia, a woman who unwittingly falls for him. When Tex's past catches up to him, he must confront both his deadly profession and his newfound love.

The cast of the 2023 film also includes Retta as Karen, Tex's former handler; Austin Amelio as Marlon, Tex's fellow hitman; and Clancy Brown as Carl, a local crime boss.
