Former Rising Star Eyes Trump Post

Partisan Divide Widens

TULSI GABBARD, a former Democratic rising star who once ran for president, has left the party and is now eyeing a position in Donald Trump's administration. Gabbard, a former U.S. Representative for Hawaii, announced her departure from the Democratic Party on Tuesday, saying that it is now "under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness."

Gabbard, a 41-year-old Iraq war veteran, was once considered a rising star in the Democratic Party. She was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2013 and served until she stepped down to run for president in 2020. Gabbard's presidential campaign was unsuccessful, and she has since become an increasingly vocal critic of the Democratic Party.

In a statement announcing her departure from the party, Gabbard said that the Democratic Party has become "a party of division and hate." She said that the party is "no longer a home for those who believe in peace, freedom, and the rule of law."

Gabbard's departure from the Democratic Party is a sign of the growing partisan divide in the United States. The two major parties are becoming increasingly polarized, and it is becoming more difficult for moderates to find a home in either party.
