Early Life and Musical Beginnings

Eliot Paulina Sumner was born on July 30, 1980, in Pisa, Tuscany, Italy, to musician Sting and actress Trudie Styler. Growing up in a musical household, Eliot developed a passion for house music during their teenage years.

As a result of their passion for music, Eliot formed the band I Blame Coco in 2004. The band released their debut album, "The Constant," in 2007, which received critical acclaim for its blend of electropop and indie rock.

Transition to Acting

In addition to music, Eliot has also pursued a career in acting. They made their acting debut in the 2016 film "Ripley," and have since appeared in films such as "The Gentlemen" (2019) and "Memory" (2022).

Eliot is non-binary and uses the pronouns they/them. They have spoken out about their experiences as a non-binary person, and have become an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights.

Recent Projects

Eliot recently starred in the Netflix limited series "The Talented Mr. Ripley," which is based on the novel of the same name by Patricia Highsmith. In the series, Eliot plays Freddie Miles, a young woman who becomes entangled in a web of deceit and murder.
